Consultation.

Consultations are designed for me to get to know you and for you to get to know me, that is where the magic begins. I will have my notes ready, you will have your wants and needs ready and we will figure out together how to make your house a home.

Coaching.

If you have a new build, remodel, or renovation this is for you! This is a long-term relationship so I can help you with all the messy details like doorknobs, handles, lighting, cabinet colors, flooring, baseboard colors, baseboard size, etc. You don’t have to stress about all of these decisions, let me coach you through them.

Process.

We will have a conversation about your needs and wants versus what you’d love to see. It is so important for me personally to meet and spend time getting to know you. I have been beyond blessed to have a fantastic clientele over the years. Working with someone you enjoy and trust makes all the difference. I have fun when I work, I’m proud of that, mostly happy to share my ideas and expertise with others.

I will do a walk-through of your home or business, and take photos of your space. The photos I take help me establish a roadmap of action needed to be taken. This helps when sending an estimate over as well. The process to update or transforming your space has been streamlined for all parties to achieve a smoother execution.

I’ve put my time and consideration into every detail, so you don’t have to. When you hire a designer, it should not be scary. You have nothing to lose by booking a consultation! I come out and tell you how I would approach your space after that you can move forward with me to installation or have fun doing it yourself with my guidance.

I’m here to reassure you, that this is a fun and safe place to explore better ideas to get the most out of your space! I am constantly learning and growing. It’s like a farm or anything else that needs sustaining. I believe the more you grow and learn, the more you can share that gift with others.

These connections made are usually lasting relationships, making the job everything it needs to be, while still giving me enough time to come up with those important details. From pillows to paintings, greenery to grout color. Having all options available gives the client a sometimes rare opportunity to participate in their own design. Although with “The Reveal”, we keep enough to ourselves, that is because I still live for those “WOW” reactions!

It makes sense for your heart to be in it from day one. I enjoy serving others, however, a part of that is helping others go from dreams to reality. My heart lies within the work I am performing at that time for that client. No two clients are the same praise, God. You can add that to another reason I love my work. I am truly grateful for my family, following, and clients!

Post Consultation- After we meet, I have my notes, photos, and usually a Pinterest page from the client, or at least a few photos that inspire you! An estimate is usually sent over within 24-48 hours if not sooner. I can usually run numbers in my head to give you a ballpark estimate.

I like to go home, process the information, and send the estimate from there. If you need to stay within a specific budget, that’s not a problem, we will discuss that the day we meet. That way most everything is covered in black and white. If we work together, there will be an easy-to-understand contract sent over via DocuSign. We will be in contact during this time, if you have any questions whatsoever, Chris Colt Design welcomes and encourages curious thinkers!
