Hello, my name is Chris Colt Gass, founder of Chris Colt Design.  A little about me… I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Jacksonville, Florida. Design and the pursuit of authentic beauty have always been at the core of my being. Even as a child, I found immense pleasure in rearranging my room every six months, pouring my heart into creating my own version of beauty. Fashion, design, and the art of paying attention to the smallest details have forever captivated my imagination.

After spending an exhilarating decade in the bustling streets of New York City and the serene landscapes of Sonoma, California, I felt a longing to return to my hometown and embark on a new chapter. It was during this introspective period that I discovered my deep love for candles—a timeless symbol of warmth, comfort, and serenity. I couldn't help but be drawn to their ability to transform any space, to uplift spirits and create a captivating ambiance.

Driven by my passion, I decided to channel my creativity into founding my own candle company. I became consumed by candles—making them, experimenting with fragrance, and infusing them with scents that evoked emotions and memories. There was something therapeutic about the process, something that filled me with joy and happiness every time I stepped into my dedicated candle room. With each candle I crafted, I poured my heart and soul into creating an experience that would brighten someone's day.

As the end of 2021 approached, I couldn't contain my excitement any longer. I began sharing my creations with family and friends, and their reactions were overwhelming. They appreciated the magic I was weaving through my candles and urged me to share it with the world. With their unwavering support and the collaboration of kindred spirits, I took a leap of faith and ventured into the online marketplace.

Every candle I create is a labor of love. I meticulously blend soy wax with essential oils, ensuring a luxurious and eco-friendly product. Sustainability is of utmost importance to me, which is why I've chosen recycled amber jars as the vessel for my creations. They not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also reflect my commitment to a greener world.

The journey I've embarked upon has been made possible by the incredible individuals who have lifted me up along the way. Their support and belief in me have been nothing short of remarkable.
